How long have you been a student at Prestans?
I think it’s been about 3 months.
Why did you choose to enroll at Prestans?
Considering my own situation, Prestans is a very suitable school for students like me. With the help of Prestans, I can ensure that I can excel in all of my studies while also taking care of my music career outside of school.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
I actually like all of my teachers. They have all helped me so much, not just academically. They also make my days better. I always enjoy talking with my advisor, Mr. Putnam. Every Monday, we make plans for the week, which really helps me with organizing things for the week. It is absolutely my pleasure that I have met all of my teachers–big shout out to all of them!
How long have you been a rap artist?
I have been a rap artist now for almost 3 years.
How did that career begin?
It was a coincidence. I was just trying to promote myself by making rap song covers for social media. One day my friend came up to me and told me that he wanted to be a rapper and wanted to make rap music with me. I don't know what I was thinking, but I agreed and we made our first collab album ever (it was sort of my first album too).
In that album, my song came out and it went viral, which I did not expect. So, I started to step into this industry. When I was young, I always loved rap and hip hop. I actually learned my English from Eminem. Being a professional rap artist feels like a dream to me.
What is the story behind your Digital Arts final project?
First, thanks to Mr. Williams for completing this project with me. He provided lots of help. It is basically an idea for my first ever album’s cover that I am going to publish in the future. Mr. Williams found an online photoshop-like application called “photopea,” and none of us had used it before. We had to learn this new app together which was so fun. The outcome is perfect, we all love it.
