College Counseling

The mission of our college counseling team is to advise and support all students as they navigate the complex journey of college admissions.

Our Process

Full-Time Students: College counseling begins at the start of junior year. Our counselors and "College Bound" curriculum guide students through:

  • Building a college list
  • Planning campus visits
  • Applications and deadlines
  • Essay writing
  • Interview prep
  • Standardized testing recommendations

Credit-Continuation Students: Juniors and Seniors have the option of adding a college counselor to their program. Our counselors will provide continuity to the process, meeting students where they are in their college application journey.

Featured Counselor

I am so grateful that Prestans was available when my daughter needed a flexible education plan. The program allowed her to seamlessly continue the coursework she had started at boarding school, prepare for college, and graduate on schedule. Her teachers and the Prestans’ administrators have been very supportive of our family and helpful in assisting our daughter to be admitted to her first choice college.
